The Universe is full of stars – at least this is what we once thought. Today we now that “normal” matter contributes only with a few percent to the Universe. Dark Matter and Dark Energy dominate the cosmos – and are still a big mistery for astrophysicists. Understanding the Universe is a tough job even when just looking for stars and galaxies. With a telescope we can only observe a small window to the cosmos at once and must scan the sky step by step in time-consuming surveys.
