The Einstein Tower in Potsdam is a solar observatory of a remarkable  architecture, dedicated to Albert Einstein. It belongs to the  Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP). At the Einstein Tower, nowadays, astronomers mostly train students how to observe and run tests on instrumentation for modern solar telescopes like the ones on Tenerife.
